Keep it simple
Writing for broadcast or online audio is different from writing for print. Poynter faculty member Al Tompkins offers advice in this Al's Morning Meeting column.

  • Focus on the important stuff and keep it simple.
  • Good sentences can be just 5 or 6 seconds long.
  • Look for details that make your story real and add interest.
