Spring Break
Greetings, writers and faithful readers. It's spring break time in Florida, so even faithful bloggers are heading out of town. In the next two weeks my travels will include workshops at my alma mater, Providence College, R.I., a visit to The Providence Journal, some classes at the University of Florida, a writing workshop at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., Governing magazine, and the American Society of Newspaper Editors convention. I hope to see some of you in my travels.

This blog will resume in April. Until then, don't be a stranger. If you have any writing questions or issues you'd like me to address, write me: rclark@poynter.org.

One final marketing note: I'm delighted that The New York Public Library has recommended "Writing Tools" on its list of "Books for the Teen Age." So it's not too soon to think about giving a copy as a graduation gift for that special high school or college student on your list. Amazon.com has lowered the price again, about $12.50 for a hardcover book. All this brightens my day. – RPC
