Suppose I was part of a team that won a couple prizes from a state newspaper editors' journalism competition?

Because I keep my resume up to date, how would I put that on it? Do I say it was a team of reporters, or do I just put my name?

Please do not use my name.

Of course, you should reflect that your good work was part of a group effort.

est of the team. Imagine if other members of the team saw your resume and it made no mention of them.

So, put yourself down on your resume as having been part of a reporting team, and briefly describe your contribution: "was the lead writer," "crunched the numbers," "did the document research."

Teamwork is terribly important these days, so having been part of a successful team should be a feather in your ... clips.
