John Robinson is a technology pioneer among newspaper editors, says
Briana Mowrey. Robinson, who launched his weblog in August of 2004, says many readers are "eager to bring you down," which is probably why some editors refuse to blog. "There is an assumption [by some readers] that what you’re saying is 'corporate speak.' People really do dissect everything I say and then apply it to the newspaper."
