Gal Beckerman says he did a double-take when he saw the Washington Post's Tuesday headline, "Toll in Iraq's Deadly Surge: 1,300." Other news outlets had much lower numbers. "What's going on here?" writes Beckerman. "How could the same morgue officials be handing out such vastly different answers? Was the Post team imagining things?"
