The St. Paul Pioneer Press scolded (second item) Katie Couric last week for saying Republicans will be in Minneapolis in September for their convention. At the end of Monday's newscast, Couric apologized to St. Paul -- host of the GOP gathering -- and added a "reminder that the man for whom your city is named encouraged his followers to be patient and forgiving."
