Katie Couric last week for saying Republicans will be in Minneapolis in September for their convention. At the end of Monday's newscast, Couric apologized to St. Paul -- host of the GOP gathering -- and added a "reminder that the man for whom your city is named encouraged his followers to be patient and forgiving."
