Tech magazine publisher Ziff Davis files for bankruptcy

The company filed for Chapter 11 protection to restructure debt that had become burdensome. "We feel like we're in a position poised for wonderful growth," says Ziff Davis CEO Jason Young. "We just needed to solve this issue." || From the filing: Ziff Davis' "highly leveraged capital structure prevented them from developing sufficient Internet publications in a timely manner to satisfy their subscribers’ demands."
