Pam Platt wonders how editorial cartoonists use exaggeration and caricature with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama without falling into sexist or racist traps. She asks several artists about their drawings. John Cole of the Scranton Times-Tribune says: "I can't in good conscience soften a cartoon's bite or humor to accommodate a few readers' overly attuned race and gender sensitivities.
