"I've had a wonderful career," says Geraldo Rivera. "I've been famous for 40 years." His only regret: writing in his 1991 memoir the details of his affairs with Bette Midler and Margaret Trudeau. "It started as a good yarn about a guy who worked his way up to become the first million-dollar reporter," he tells Mark Shanahan. "I should never have written the other stuff. It was self-aggrandizing in a reckless, Romeo kind of way."
