Sacramento Bee Tom Philp, who is
leaving the Bee to work for the Southern California water district, says farewell to newspapering. "I will not miss the endorsement process and having to pick between two candidates who are wonderful or two who most definitely are not," writes the Pulitzer-winning editorial writer. "I will miss a newspaper that, for 15 years, has never changed a word of my copy with profit in mind."
