Slim Smith heard from over 100 readers after
apologizing last week for his DUI arrests and convictions. "Somewhere among all the calls and messages, an idea began to form in my mind: I am not the victim in this, I finally realized. I am the offender." He's decided to change his plea in the latest incident to guilty. "My bosses have decided to suspend me for six months, which seems to me both just and generous."
