Veteran sports columnist Sid Hartman (left) says he didn't consult with editors before agreeing to do a Sun Country Airlines commercial because "I thought I was doing a favor for the Star Tribune." Ombud Kate Parry doesn't see it that way. "What an uncomfortable situation he has created for his colleagues, particularly reporters covering the airlines, and for the three top [newsroom] managers," she writes.
