The Sun-Times says it will provide the "main meat dish" and "soft beverages" for holiday parties, but employees will have to provide the rest. "Potluck dishes could be part of a cultural or ethnic family tradition," says a memo. "Be prepared to talk to your co-workers about the significance of your dish and bring the recipe to share with others." Staffers are also told: "Holiday turkeys or gift certificates will not be distributed this year."
