LA Daily News publisher, editor object to proposed cuts

Los Angeles Times
Los Angeles Daily News staffers say editor Ron Kaye and publisher Tracy Rafter have raised concerns that cuts would hurt the ability of the paper to serve its readers. Patrick McGreevy reports Kaye has told friends that he wouldn't rule out quitting if the cuts prevented him from doing his job. The paper is owned by Dean Singleton.
