Fred Clark wrote his obituary last December, when he was perfectly healthy. He died on Father's Day after a car crash. Clark's obit, published in Sunday's Times-Dispatch, includes this line: "He died at MCV Hospital and sadly was deprived of his final wish which was to be run over by a beer truck on the way to the liquor store to buy booze for a double date to include his wife,
Rush Limbaugh and
Ann Coulter to crash an ACLU cocktail party." Clark's son says most of the
obit is true, "although he didn't really expect that he'd go on a double date with Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter."
