Keith Olbermann has been able to honk his horn loud enough to raise hackles at Fox News. The host of MSNBC's "Countdown" notes that
Bill O'Reilly only helped his cause by taking the bait and responding to the gibes. (For the last quarter, Olbermann has seen his ratings in the 25-to-54 age group grow by more than 30%) "You don’t punch down," Olbermann says. "If you’re in my position,” he adds, referring to his initially microscopic ratings next to O'Reilly's, "you punch upwards."
