Do they run "fag," "f--," or something else? "The media have been all over the map on this one," writes Teddy Greenstein. USA Today used the slur in its story about White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen's verbal assault on Sun-Times columnist Jay Mariotti. The Chicago Trib used the full word just once, and that was in a quote. || Neil Steinberg: "The Chicago Tribune can't bring itself to print the word 'fag.'" (Third column item).
