NewsCollege is a new site for journalists, packed with dozens of journalism tip sheets and articles.

The site, which launched earlier this month, was created by Gregg McLachlan, the Associate Managing Editor of the Simcoe Reformer in Ontario, Canada.

For years he has published the newsroom newsletter "The Write Way," which has been circulated to journalists in Canada, the United States, Caribbean, Malaysia, Europe, South Africa and South America.

NewsCollege is a new site that includes many of the tip sheets previously published in "The Write Way," some of which have been updated and revised for NewsCollege.

The tips touch on all of the basics, such as tightening copy and eliminating weak quotes. The site also has dozens of other tips ranging from how to learn from your mistakes to 50 ways to find story ideas.
