A Community Conversation:
The War in Iraq: Stories of Heroism, War & Family

WHAT:
An afternoon with Rajiv Chandrasekaran and Martha Raddatz.  Please join Poynter and the members of the community for a conversation with two outstanding journalists who have written books about the heroism, hearbreak and policy of the war in Iraq. The event is sponsored by The Poynter Institute, and proceeds will benefit students in Poynter's Writers Camp (grades 4-8) and high school journalism program (grades 9-12).
WHO:


Rajiv Chandrasekaran is an Assistant Managing Editor for The Washington Post.  He is the 2007 BBC Four Samuel Johnson Prize recipient for Non-Fiction.  He is the author of "Imperial Life in the Emerald City: Inside Iraq's Green Zone."


Martha Raddatz is the Chief White House Correspondent for ABC News.  She is a two-time Emmy Award Winner and a frequent guest on PBS' "Washington Week". She is the author of "The Long Road Home:  A Story of War and Family."
